Hello and welcome to the webpage built by Vivek Kulkarni!

This is a webpage built using the HTML format. This is actually the first webpage I have built using this format. I am a serious computer man though, as I know several programming languages such as C and Basic. I also own EVERY video game known to man. If you have any questions about games or codes about games you can email me at v-kulkarni@mailcity.com

I felt it necessary to give some example of my knowledge in the topic I have provided already, so I have included strategy guides on the top video game in my opinion.

Best Video Game: Super Smash Brothers

Nintendo just keeps getting better and better! Super Smash Brothers is, in my opinion, the best video game ever made. Not only does it feature some of the most popular Nintendo characters ever, it also revolutionized the realm of fighting games. Here is a strategy guide about how to be good with all of my favorite characters.

Character Summaries

Mario

Moves

Up and B = Super Jump Punch
Down and B = Mario Tornado
B =Fireball
A = Punch
Down A = Low Kick
Up A = Headbutt
Left/Right A = Super Punch

Strategy

The all-famous plumber; my favorite character; Luigi's brother; all of these terms can be used to describe Mario. The oldest and most popular Nintendo character, Mario has great potential if his moves are used properly. Mario's Super Jump Punch has it's advantages and disadvantages. It does at least 7 percent damage every time, and it is also a great jumping move to get back onto the arena. However, once you perform the move, you cannot jump again. The Mario Tornado attack can be devastating, or it can to absoluely nothing. If performed on the ground, the competitor must be right next to you. If you perform this move in the air, it loses much of its effectiveness as it hits the opponent only once or twice. The fireball move is very effective in knocking off competitors hanging on the edge of the arena. Doing about 6 or 7 percent damage, it is also a good way to bring the enemy's damage up for more powerful attacks. This is Mario's only range attack. Mario's simple punch does surprisingly a lot of damage for a weak first level attack doing about 4-6 percent damage. Mario's Low Kick attack is very effective when surrounded by enemies because Mario lowers to the ground an rotates while kicking. The Headbutt move that Mario has also does a lot of damage, around 30 percent! This can be lethal to enemies with 50 percent damage or more. When enemies are falling after a high attack, the headbutt is the perfect move to use. Instead of using the regular punch, I prefer the Super Punch. Doing as much damage as the headbutt, this move is just as powerful but it attacks to the side instead of upwards. These are all of Mario's moves and their useful abilities. The main idea or battle strategy with Mario is JUMPING. Mario's jump is the second best in the game, lesser to only his brother, Luigi. Also, jumping is the best way Mario has of evading attacks.

Pikachu

Moves

Up and B = Agility
Down and B = Thunder
B = Static Ball
A = Headbutt
Down A = Low Kick
Up and A = Tail Wag
Left/Right A = Electric Shock

Strategy

Probably the best known Pokemon, Pikachu is my second favorite character. He is much faster that Mario, but has less powerful moves. Pikachu's Agility is a great move that can be used to escape an incoming enemy attack, but I find that it is best used for coming back on to the arena after being knocked off. Also, you can do a double agility in which you "warp" twice, which can really help in the preceeding areas. Thunder can be EXTREMELYpowerful if used properly, but it can also just about nothing. Thunder is very effective when you have one enemy on each side, because a lightning bolt comes out of the sky and hits you and creates a small but powerful field of electricity around you at that moment. This also works if enemies are above you. The Static Ball, as I call it, is VERYweak move to use. Being Pikachu's only range move, the Static Ball travels away from it at about a 45° angle to the right and down. If it hits a surface, then it will travel along the surface. It does about 6 or 7 percent damage every time it hits someone. Pikachu's Headbutt move does about 2 or 3 percent and goes either left or right. The Low Kick move that Pikachu has is very similar to the one Mario has, where Pikachu lowers down and rotates whil kicking. The Tail Wag move can be very useful in damaging enemies. When an enemy is falling toward the arena, you can use the tail wag to hit them upward again. Just keep repeating and soon they will have a lot of damage! Doing about 10 or 11 percent damage each hit, they ar also great setups for the Thunder move. The Electric Shock is a very powerful move, doing about 30 percent damage each hit going sideways. It can be very frustrating for an opponent to just make it back on to the edge and get sent flying again by an Electric Shock. The main battle strategy with Pikachu is to use your SPEED. Rush at your opponent from the first moment of battle and use you speed to attack with great effectiveness, or even in desperate times run away!
